It is getting to be that time of year again so in honor and in memory of Jason Elias we are supporting the cold weather clothing and blanket drive for Minneapolis First Nations elders and the homeless.

Items that are needed are: coats, gloves, scarves, hats, hand and foot warmers, socks, warm shoes or boots and blankets. These items do not need to be new – if you have usable items in your closet that you no longer need or use, please consider donating them to those who do need them and will be very grateful.

Other items that are needed on a daily basis are personal hygiene products like: shampoo, bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, hair brushes as well as feminine hygiene products tampons and pads.

Please contact Native Lives Matter if you have items to give and we can set up a time to meet otherwise Sue GoodStar will be at the Pow Wow Grounds Coffee shop in Minneapolis on Saturdays from 1pm until 4pm.
