HELP EMPOWER US TO LAUNCH OUR SATELLITE SANCTUARY
Paper Revolution helps coordinate and organize events around the world. We also spend a lot of time distributing information to the masses. A satellite sanctuary will be a mobile educational hub, infoshop, and base for mutual aid and support, to be equipped with a sheltered space to host events, teach-ins, workshops, and retreats. These satellite sanctuaries will also be used to fulfill a diverse range of other purposes as they can mobilize to help provide relief efforts in the event of a disaster or other emergency.
Our endgame for the satellite sanctuaries will be to educate interested individuals and communities to the sanctuary structure. We hope that our satellite sanctuary will become self-sustaining through donations and community support. Those working within our ‘satellite structure’ will become ambassadors for the ideology behind our ‘Sanctuary for Humanity’.
Our crew will learn how to organize, mobilize, and provide relief to those in need while being a part of a diverse roving community. Those participating within the satellites will be able to tour with the sanctuary until they find a sanctuary of their choice for refuge in our alternative lifestyle.
To continue providing for the revolution the satellite sanctuaries will provide refuge and safety to direct actions throughout their tours. Satellite sanctuaries can effectively be used to provide support for blockade events, marches, occupations, and other types of tactical protests along with the ability to cook and distribute food relief as needed. We hope to equip our teams with the ability to provide alt-media support along with other forms of street aid and resources to sustain actions and events… but we need your help!

ANTI-FASCIST MEDICAL SUPPORT FOR PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY
We are busy in Southern Appalachia and need support to keep rolling as the weather gets warm and white supremacists try to organize in our hills and hollers!
No joke – the Traditionalist Workers Party and National Socialist Movement, both real deal neo-Nazi groups, are planning a conference and public rally in Pike county Kentucky April 28th. They believe they can exploit the terrible economic situation in this coalfield region to recruit and build fascism. They plan to come armed.
Support Appalachian Medical Solidarity in providing direct medical infrastructure to anti-fascists who will oppose these plans and shut down Nazis from spewing their hate in our communities. We need to fix our 1st Aid station tent, stock up on supplies and replace busted gear. We want to be able to host medics coming from far away and will likely need to rent a store front and/or a van for the week as well as suss our communications system. Think high risk street action with need for operational security.
We have collective experience in protest convergence support and direct action involvement. We ask you to help with material needs.
NOTE: We suggest you opt to hide your name from the donors displayed on the donation page. The opposition has been known to watch these. STAY HEALTHY. STAY CLEVER.
What medics with Appalachian Medical Solidarity have done just since the 2016 election: direct medical support at demos and rallies such as the Women’s March, Disrupt J20, NoDAPL at Standing Rock & solidarity events, Immigrant Ban protests, 2-week NC proposed pipeline walk and medic training classes in Atlanta, Knoxville, Asheville, Johnson City and Durham.

FIRST DAUGHTER & THE BLACK SNAKE – APRIL 22ND
This new film will be showing at the Uptown Theater on Saturday, April 22nd at 4:25pm.
The “Prophecy of the 7th Fire” says a “black snake” will bring destruction to the earth. For Winona LaDuke, the “black snake” is oil trains and pipelines. When she learns that Canadian-owned Enbridge plans to route a new pipeline through her tribe’s 1855 Treaty land, she and her community spring into action to save the sacred wild rice lakes and preserve their traditional indigenous way of life.
Launching an annual spiritual horse ride along the proposed pipeline route, speaking at community meetings and regulatory hearings. Winona testifies that the pipeline route follows one of historical and present-day trauma. The tribe participates in the pipeline permitting process, asserting their treaty rights to protect their natural resources. LaDuke joins with her tribe and others to demand that the pipelines’ impact on tribal people’s resources be considered in the permitting process.

Trump said he jumped ahead in the primaries after the San Bernardino attack, and his military aggressions seem in part designed to create a backlash attack that will boost his falling ratings. How can we prepare to dilute the knee jerk Islamaphobia that might solidify his power if there is another “terrorist” attack?
One step is for more of us to get to know people from the Middle East who are the targets of stereotyping. Personal connections can help us lower our own Islamaphobia and deepen our ability to challenge it in our culture.
Local Syrians are reaching out and want to be heard. There are many reasons to come to all or part of this evening of music, dance, teach-ins and food. Bring friends.
Syrians have been on Democracy Now speaking about the current crisis. They despair at being ignored by the world. Come on the 28th to hear local Syrians with first hand experience.

ACTIVATION OF THE SWEET OM COMMUNITY KITCHEN
The Sweet Om Alabama Kitchen provides hundreds – sometimes thousands – of delicious meals, fresh coffee, and snacks at Rainbow Family Gatherings, festivals, and wherever else needed. All of the food, snacks, coffee, and drinks served are donated from kind souls from within our collective community.
The kitchen’s first activation of the 2017 season will be at Revival Music Festival, May 26-28th in Harmony Park of Geneva, MN.
None of our efforts would be possible without the love and generosity of our collective family.
100% of our contributions will be used solely for the kitchen in order to purchase food, supplies, and the cost of fuel to get the kitchen to its intended destinations.
